Dacony machine-woven baby wraps stand out for their strength, maintaining their shape without stretching or sagging, ensuring perfect support for the carried child, from birth to toddlerhood. Dacony wraps hold securely when tied and do not slip. For ease of tying, the wraps are marked with a center label, have tapered ends, and feature color-coded inner and outer edges.

MATERIAL & CARE

Made from premium 100% cotton, the high-strength diamond weave uses doubled warp and weft threads, with a weight of 220g/m². The wraps are certified and suitable for use from birth. We recommend washing at 40°C and ironing when slightly damp. Shrinkage of approximately 5% can be expected after the first wash.

WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE

The length of the wrap is selected based on the clothing size of the parent who will be doing most of the babywearing. If you are using rings, a shorter wrap will suffice. Keep in mind that as your child grows, the amount of fabric needed for tying increases as well.
Dacony woven wraps are available in three sizes:

"S" (4.2m) – short, suitable for smaller and petite figures,
"M" (4.7m) – medium, ideal for average-sized individuals,
"L" (5.2m) – long, best for larger and broader body types.

WHY CHOOSE A WOVEN WRAP

There are two main types of wraps on the market: woven and stretchy. A woven wrap is made with a strong weave along its length and width, but it stretches slightly diagonally. These properties allow the wrap to snugly hold the baby, making it comfortable, easy to tie, and retaining its shape, lasting through the entire babywearing period from birth to toddlerhood. In contrast, a stretchy wrap is made from knit fabric, stretches both lengthwise and widthwise, sags under heavier weights, and is therefore only suitable for babies up to 8 kg.
